Gemini Publishes New Price List

Cannon Falls, MN ­ Gemini Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of dimensional letters, logos and plaques for the sign industry since 1964, announces the publication of its 2010/2011 Professional Signage Catalog. At 204 pages, the price list is Gemini’s most comprehensive signage catalog to date with prices effective through October 2011.

For 2010, Gemini has added not one, but two new product lines. The first is a complete line of illuminated letters that will give sign professionals more design flexibility and the option of LED illumination. LEDs can be added to any Injection Molded Channel Letter, new Gemlite Formed Channel Letter, and most Fabricated Stainless Steel Letters or Logos.

Also new this year is Gemini’s line of Display Letters. Designed for interior use, these letters offer sign professionals the flexibility of securing all of their dimensional lettering products from one, dependable, cost-effective manufacturer. Display letters include metal laminates on acrylic, acrylic laminates on foam, wood letters, and premium hard wood letters.

Gemini has added two new typestyles to its family of cast letters. Based on customer demand, the two new cast styles are Broadway and Arial. These are available in all aluminum and bronze cast finishes.

New to formed plastic this year is the color Mango. This warm yellow is commonly used in many national re-signage programs. In addition, while no new standard formed styles have been added this year to the hundreds of standard styles, Gemini has reduced prices on nearly 80 percent of its typestyles.

Several new options in wayfinding and ADA compliant plaque offerings are available this year. Gemini has added new zinc plaques to its portfolio, and with the addition of the “FLASH BRONZE” treatment, any zinc or aluminum plaque can have the appearance of lead-free Navy-G bronze.

Gemini has also reduced prices on many products, including Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Brass. Thanks to buying efficiencies and new laser cutting methods, pricing on ¼" Aluminum and on all gauges of Stainless Steel letters have been significantly lowered. Cut brass plate pricing has also been reduced. In addition, oxidized brass has been added as a standard finish in all brass gauges. This price reduction affects all brass finishes including brushed, polished, and even the new oxidized finish.

Price reductions have occurred in all gauges of laser-cut acrylic and on mounting method upcharges, and the price for optical clear and for ¾" and 1" acrylic have been reduced. Gemini has also installed new paint-matching equipment that has helped reduce the cost of custom color mixing and matching fees to $20 per color per order. Finally, a mini plastic stud boss and matching pad have been created to allow mounting for smaller letters with only a 3/16" stand-off.
