Signs Now Appoints Three New Owners to Advisory Board

SARASOTA, Fla. - Signs Now, A Division of Allegra Network LLC, recently held elections for the company’s Franchise Advisory Board (FAB), and has named Howard Stovall, Pete Thomas and Mike Hughes as its three newest members. All three will serve on the FAB until 2013. The FAB is comprised of seven elected franchisee representatives and three appointed representatives from Signs Now headquarters.

Stovall and Thomas were elected to represent both of the Board’s At-Large Seats. Stovall owns a Signs Now franchise in Lexington, KY, and Thomas owns three Colorado Signs Now centers. Mike Hughes was elected to represent the Midwest region. He owns a Signs Now center in Norman, Okla.

“We have a fantastic group of owners on the Franchise Advisory Board,” remarked Bernard Haun, Signs Now vice president of marketing and communications. “The addition of Howard, Pete and Mike will further strengthen the role of our Board and will increase owner involvement across the board.”

The FAB was established to provide a forum for the discussion of company plans, programs and concerns with its franchise owners. The objectives of the FAB include the participation in development of programs; feedback on purpose, goals and direction of programs; to help ensure accountability and to increase participation of all franchise owners in company programs; and to improve feedback on the effectiveness of company programs.

Other FAB members include Chairperson Kristin Trevino, from Portland, Ore., representing the Northwest region; Tim Weber from Holland, Mich., representing the Northeast region; Peter Lewis from Tampa, Fla., representing the Southeast region; and Mike Carson from Nanaimo, BC, representing the Canadian region.
