PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 6, 2009

Gandinnovations at FESPA Mexico

San Antonio, TX, USA - Gandinnovations will be exhibiting its three newest grand-format printers at FESPA-Mexico City in booth # C30 August 27-29, 2009. The NanoJet2 flatbed, Aquajet direct-to-fabric printer and Jeti 3348 JetSpeed will be showcased as not only the most productive printer line up in Mexico but the world!

“I wanted to exhibit the most effective printers I thought Mexico could handle,” says Cristian Gonzales, Sales Manager for Gandinnovations Mexico. “The FESPA attendees are going to get the show of their life when they see the output coming from these three printers!”

The NanoJet2 is the highest-quality TRUE flatbed digital printer manufactured by Gandinnovations and features 20 Grayscale Ricoh printheads to give shop owners more color tones and the most realistic images ever produced. The NanoJet2 produces variable dot sizes of 8-24 picoliters per printhead with 5 colors of CMYK and inline white, so there is no need to ever change out colors. Dot placement is 100% accurate due to the innovative 1.2mtr x 2.4mtr (4’x8’) linear printing table and head carriage system. Of course, at the heart of the NanoJet2 will be the strong vacuum “bed”, with which over 73 qualified rigid and flexible materials (up to 2” thick) are held firmly in place. New GUV inks from Gandinnovations give the NanoJet2 the edge to achieve the sharpest images ever seen, while complementing beautiful background colors all with the same printhead.

Along with the NanoJet2, Gandinnovations will also exhibit the 3324 Aquajet, its direct-to-fabric-printer, at FESPA Mexico.

The Aquajet is a 3.3 meter wide format direct-to-fabric printer that uses specially formulated in-house water-based inks to achieve vibrant, brilliant colors that are fade and wash resistant. The Aquajet prints directly on any polyester based fabric and colors burst to life for unlimited applications.

There is no longer a need for transfer paper or a separate heating unit when printing with the Aquajet. The printer includes a built-in infrared heater that cures the ink and allows the colors to “pop”. The Aquajet features 24 Gandinnovations Special Edition print heads, is available in 6-color, true 400 dpi resolution and has production speeds of 60 sqm/hr (650 sqft/hr).

The Aquajet comes with 3 high-temperature slitting units attached on the rewind rollers that will allow operators to slit and seal the fabric for the finished required sizes. The 3324 Aquajet is unquestionably the most versatile and fastest 3 meter grand-format digital direct-to-fabric printer in the world and has been designed specifically for the textile printing industry.

The Jeti 3348 JetSpeed is the most productive printer in the world. Available in a 4 color configuration, the JetSpeed features 48 Spectra print heads for blazing speed! The UV lamps instantly dry the Gandinnovations Premium Inks, which have been specially formulated to yield a wider color gamut and exhibit excellent flexibility and superior adhesion on a variety of materials. The JetSpeed prints on fabric, canvas, vinyl, plastic film, paper, polyester and 100% eco-friendly PE; opening many new markets for shop owners.

The JetSpeed is capable of printing fast, high quality images at speeds of 232 sqm/hr (2500 sqft/hr ) in production mode at 300 dpi - perfect for outdoor application, such as billboards and car/building wraps.

Gandinnovations has expanded its reach in the industry since its inception in 2004 with programs and accessories geared towards helping customers maintain peak productions. Two new products offered by Gandinnovations, the JETiWORX and the Jeti Edge, are specifically designed to keep their clients producing and profitable. The programs provide clients with a maintenance plan, plus on-site technical support and training during the installation of Jeti printers.
