GMI Announces Matching Materials System Warranty for Mojave Vehicle Wrap and GMI Cast Overlaminates

Calabasas Hills (March 24, 2009) ­ Graphic Materials International (GMI) announces the Matching Materials System (MMS) Warranty for Mojave Vehicle Wrap. GMI warrants that its Mojave Cast Vinyl Vehicle Wrap will provide seven years of outdoor durability (Un­printed). The performance is based on a vertical exposure in a temperate climate. Exposures in desert and tropical climates may reduce the expected lifetime by about 50%. Exposure near heat sources (e.g. engines) and polluted environments will further reduce durability.

GMI’s family of Cast Overlaminates — including 1.5 mil. Gloss and Matte Clear Cast Vinyl , as well as 2.0 mil. Gloss, Luster and Matte Clear Cast Vinyls — are recommended for most vehicle wrap applications.

In the event of a warranty failure, GMI’s reimbursement obligation for refurbishing shall not exceed two times the cost of the film. Reimbursement is contingent upon proof of the failure and that proper processing and application procedures were followed.
