Element Labs appoints EMEA Sales Director Entertainment

Santa Clara, California - Element Labs, Inc. a global leader in the design, manufacture and support of cutting-edge LED video technology to the entertainment, architectural and signage industries, today announced that it has appointed Bart Van der Beken as sales director EMEA Entertainment. The appointment forms part of Element Labs’ continued growth strategy.

Van der Beken brings to Element Labs over twenty years international experience in key commercial roles in different AV industries. Prior to joining Element Labs, Van der Beken spent a substantial part of his career at Barco’s Media & Entertainment division, which he joined in 2000, in effect witnessing the emergence of LED technology as a commercially viable large-screen display solution. Van der Beken quickly rose through the ranks at Barco to take on the position of International Sales Director Events EMEA & APAC.

Van der Beken has spent 9 years in the LED industry as it grew from a nascient market to a major growth opportunity today. He has worked over that time with the European Video Rental & Staging community offering a broad range of solutions to business problems. In addition Van der Beken speaks multiple languages and has tremendous experience and cultural competence across continents and countries.

Marc Van Eekeren, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Element Labs, welcomed the addition of Van der Beken stating: “Element Labs continues to expand its reach and scale worldwide with Bart’s appointment in Europe, who will be working in close cooperation with Claas Ernst, MD for Element Labs Europe. With offices in Germany and the United Kingdom, we will soon be opening our Belgian office to better serve our EMEA customers. Bart brings the necessary drive, motivation, and the ability to achieve and lead impressive growth with our new Cobra platform which will be launched during the ISE show in Amsterdam. “
