N. Glantz & Son Acquired By 4th Generation, Looks To The Future

N. Glantz & Son, the largest full line sign and graphics supply distribution company in the U.S., has announced that it has been formally acquired by fourth generation family members Joe Hartman and Davey Glantz. By completing the purchase of the company from their father, Herbert Glantz, Hartman and Glantz continue the lineage of the company founded by their great-grandfather, Nathan Glantz in 1906.

In conjunction with the acquisition, the executive responsibilities of the partners have been refined. Joe Hartman maintains the title of Chief Executive Officer, with a focus on strategic planning and high-level vendor-partner and industry relations. Davey Glantz has assumed the title of President, with overall day-to-day responsibility for the business.

According to Hartman, “The purchase of this strong company allows us to continue to serve our loyal customers and this dynamic industry well into the future. Headquartered in Louisville, KY, N. Glantz & Son currently operates 24 stocking branch locations across the U.S., three of which opened in 2008. The company has plans to continue its expansion in the coming years, in addition to entering new product categories and adding management resources to leverage its considerable logistical capabilities.
