viscom frankfurt 2008 showcases advertising technology in practice

On an area of more than two hundred square metres, eight companies will offer a close-up experience of advertising technology. Foliatec from Nuremberg was already represented at the first demonstration area in 2007: “Because of the great response and the successful cooperation at last year’s viscom in Düsseldorf, we decided to once again book a space at the demonstration area“, explains Stefan Sack, Head of Marketing at FOLIATEC. “On 30 square metres we will show the simple, neat, and fast application of FOLIATEC.com car glass film on a passenger car by our Stylingteam partners.“ For personal talks, Managing Director Michael Böhm and Stefan Sack will be available. The company will also present the new car glass films REVO REFLEX Super Dark and REVO REFLEX Dark.

New at viscom and new at the demonstration area is the yarn and thread manufacturer Madeira. Julia Liesenhoff, Area Sales Manager of the Freiburg-based company, explains: “The objective of our presence at the demonstration area is to show the different effects that can be created just by the choice of different embroidery yarns and threads alone, and how the embroidery process works. We want to demonstrate a number of possibilities in embroidery, and to motivate both beginners and ‘old hands’ to try new things. We will also be very happy to give help and advice to visitors on any questions of embroidery technique.“ Madeira will present itself not only on a special area of twelve square metres but also on a stand of its own with the number 3.0.C50: “In addition to our full range of yarns and threads ­ viscose, polyester, aramid, acrylic wool and metal ­ we will also present our embroidering accessories at the stand, including scissors, fleeces and films. Our AFS (Automatic Frame System) and the frames to go with it will also be on display. There have been a number of new developments with this product which will be an absolute highlight for customers engaged in the production of embroidered badges or wishing to embark on it,“ explains Julia Liesenhoff.

Also on show at the demonstration: the company ALCAN COMPOSITES - Alcan Singen GmbH presents “Processing and finishing of aluminium composite panels“, Karl Gröner GmbH provides information on “Textile processing techniques“ and LOGO! GmbH on “Light box construction“. “Decorative and figure design“ will be demonstrated on the area by Malerei & Werbung Alfred Werker. Deutsche adp will show the application of a full vehicle wrap. Another focal topic will be covered by nextLED GmbH and SR Rosen with LED installations.

viscom frankfurt 2008 will take place as this year’s International Trade Fair for Visual Communication from 30 October to 1 November at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre in Hall 3.0. The organisers, Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH, expects app. 240 international exhibitors and 7,500 visitors from 30 countries.
