Las Vegas, NV - Global Display Solutions, Inc., pioneers of the thermally managed outdoor sunlight readable LCDs, announces that it will be exhibiting at the Infocomm 2008 Conference and Exposition from June 18 through June 20, 2008 at the Las Vegas - Convention Center booth N6728. At the event, GDS will debut their latest product innovation, the D6, 65 inch portrait LCD advertising display and the Midas, the thermally managed outdoor LCD.

MIDAS - 45” Thermally Managed Outdoor LCD for Infotainment
GDS’s displays from its Outdoor range are available in 65”, 45” and 32” sizes. These innovative displays are readable in full sunlight, have extremely high resolution and are designed to operate 24 hours a day. The design of these color TFT displays makes them ideal for use in outdoor applications such as railway stations, airports, bus stations, theme parks, shopping malls and other passenger information and advertising functions. This range of displays is totally weather-proof and vandal-proof, with the frontal Advanced Optical Enhancement (AOE) treatment providing numerous performance improvements including high contrast, no condensation, no dust, no reflection and parallax problems. Upon request, the Midas can be provided with a touch screen display.

D6 - 65” LCD for Advertising
D6 is a digital 6-sheets High Definition TFT LCD display poster for advertising platforms in shopping malls, railway and underground stations. Provided with the ultimate daylight brightness technology and the most customized design, the D6 is perfectly suitable for any indoor and semi-outdoor communication need. D6 is weather proof and environment adaptable (IP65). D6 is rugged and protected against vandalism and has a completely customizable front cosmetic frame. D6 has an embedded high performance media player PC, network connectivity card and it is provided with a user friendly content management system. The D6 is also available with a touch screen display.

Panaro - LED Display Modules
Panaro high intensity LED modules are designed to be assembled into whatever size display you need. Modular design means GDS can deliver the perfect Panaro display solution in record time and in the exact size you are looking for. GDS can provide both color (68 billion colors) and monochrome LED displays using smart modules to create your own customized configuration. LED displays come with a dual function controller - stand alone media player or video interface. The software is Vista® compliant.

Adjustable Outdoor Drive-Thru Kiosk
GDS presents at InfoComm08 the most innovative solution for outdoor drive truh kiosks. The peculiarity of this kiosk is that it has an integrated mechanical arm able to adjust the height of the kiosk in order to make it accessible also for those with different car sizes. With this kiosk people can place an order choosing between different items, pay with credit card, print the receipt and then drive to the delivery area. This kiosk is specific for drive truh grocery stores but it can be customized for every other indoor or outdoor application that requires adjustable height, order and payment system, touch screen display and printer. This kiosk can be customized also to give access to the people with physical impairments.
