Gemini Publishes New Catalog

Cannon Falls, MN ­ Gemini Incorporated ushered in its 46th year of business with the release of its new 2008/2009 Price List. A leading manufacturer of dimensional letters, logos and plaques for the sign industry, Gemini’s latest catalog features a pair of new product lines as well as several additions and improvements to its established products.

The first of Gemini’s new products is Metal Laminated Acrylic Letters. There will be seven metal laminates to choose from; brushed Satin Aluminum, Soft Satin Aluminum, Polished Aluminum, Brushed Satin Brass, Soft Satin Brass, Polished Brass, and Brushed Satin Gold; as well as all of Gemini’s 32 pigmented acrylic substrates in five gauges ranging from 1/8" to 1/2". Offering almost unlimited customization, these letters are recommended for interior use but can be used outdoors and come with a lifetime guarantee.

Also new is Formed Channel Letters. Designed for LED lighting, these letters are made from Gemini’s own extruded sheets of Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, an earth-friendly plastic made from cotton and wood fibers. Gemini’s Formed Plastic Channel Letter is a Recognized Component under UL 879 and UL 48, which applies to lighting and signage. A revolutionary new product tailor-made for the fast-growing area of illuminated channel letters, Gemini Formed Channel Letters offer lower mold costs, shorter lead times, greater design flexibility and large part capabilities. Letter sizes are available from 12" to 36" in nine translucent colors; white, yellow, red-orange, orange, red, brick red, blue, light blue and light green.

Four new type styles have been added in Formed Plastic: Frutiger 65 (upper case), Century Bold Condensed (lower case), Futura Condensed (upper and lower case), and Architectural (lower case). Three new styles have been added to Cast Metal: Architectural (lower case), Futura Condensed (upper case), and Gils Sans Bold (upper and lower case).

Sections for Acrylic, GeMINI Mini Metals Letters and Fabricated Letters have all been expanded and price tables have been simplified. In addition, the add-on costs for baked enamel on flat cut metal letters have been dropped. All Gemini products come with a lifetime guarantee. Prices are effective through April 2009.
