Owner of Lawrenceville, NJ FASTSIGNS® Center Wins Top Award

Bill Belmont, owner of the FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center in Lawrenceville, NJ received multiple sales achievement awards, including the top award ­ the FASTSIGNS Award ­ at the 2008 FASTSIGNS convention held recently in Colorado Springs.

Belmont, who opened his FASTSIGNS center in 1999 along with his wife Joan, was awarded the franchise network’s most important recognition, the FASTSIGNS Award, which goes to the center owner who represents the concept and the spirit of the FASTSIGNS name, both in the business community and in the FASTSIGNS network. Past recipients exemplify everything it takes to be a successful owner, including integrity, determination, loyalty and motivation.

Belmont has been active within the FASTSIGNS franchise system to help better operations and services to its franchisees. He served on the Franchise Advisory Committee, and just began his second term representing the northeastern FASTSIGNS centers on the National Advertising Council, which provides strategic direction for the development of services, programs and materials that benefit the North American FASTSIGNS system.

Belmont is described by his peers as “strategic, objective, fair and level-headed, and always has the best interest of the franchise system as a whole in mind.”

In addition, to receiving the FASTSIGNS Award, Belmont’s center was honored for achieving more than $1 million in total sales from Oct. 1, 2006 ­ Sept. 30, 2007, and was recognized among the top three centers opened between six and eight years with highest total sales during this same time period.
