Roland to Contest Gerber Patent Claim

IRVINE, CA - Roland DGA Corporation announced today that it will aggressively contest and pursue all options against a patent infringement suit filed by Gerber Scientific Products.

“We are aware of Gerber’s suit,” Roland President and CEO Bob Curtis said. “As technological innovators with a vast library of patents, we at Roland have great respect for the rights of intellectual property holders. However, we firmly believe that our integrated inkjet printer/cutters do not infringe on Gerber technology and that the suit has no merit.”
