Toronto Workshop Explores Ground-Breaking Technologies and offers networking and updates on SGIA activities in Canada
Fairfax, Virginia — SGIA kicks off a fantastic 2007 workshop schedule next month with “Advancements in Technology” (Toronto, Canada; February 8).
This half-day workshop will educate specialty imagers on the latest advancements with computer-to-screen systems and LED curing technology for UV ink systems. These new technologies are considered to be on the forefront of screen printing and digital imaging.
Industry experts Wolfgang Pfirrmann, KIWO Inc., and Stephen Siegel, UV Process Supply, will explain technical and economic advantages these types of equipment can bring, and present case studies of businesses that have successfully incorporated them.
Attendees also will get the latest scoop on SGIA’s work with Environment Canada and WSIB, Canada’s government and provincial agencies. “Similar to our partnership with Environment Canada, SGIA is exploring a partnership with WSIB that will result in cost savings for members,” says Marci Kinter, SGIA’s Vice President for Government & Business Information. Kinter will offer more details on the potential partnership during the workshop.
By blending an equal amount of session and networking time, the workshop allows specialty imagers the chance to learn about some exciting technologies and connect with industry colleagues without too much time away from the office.
This seminar is approaching fast, so visit SGIA.org today for more information and to register. And see a complete list of 2007 workshops at SGIA.org/events.
