2007 NEHS Conference Expands Coverage of Business Issues - Upcoming conference tailored for needs of screen and digital businesses
Fairfax, Virginia — This year’s National Environmental Health & Safety Conference (Jacksonville, Florida, March 1214, 2007) has expanded its coverage of business compliance and planning issues, making it the specialty imager’s best solution to ever-changing government rules and regulations.
The three-day conference — sponsored in part by SGIA — added 12 round-table discussions on top of its regular lineup of 12 break-out sessions.
At the conference, attendees will get the latest updates and emerging trends on:
- Federal environmental regulatory actions
- Recent and innovating changes to state air permitting issues
- Safety workplace tips that can be easily implemented
“Not only do specialty imagers get ahead of the curve, they also gain from their peers’ experiences,” said Marci Kinter, SGIA’s Vice President for Government & Business Information.
“This is their only chance for the year to talk with environmental, health and safety professionals within the industry and get the contacts they’ll need to use when facing issues at their shops,” she said.
In addition to extensive seminars, the conference will offer a free introductory class on the Occupational Safety & Health Administration and how the agency works.
There also will be a hands-on workshop for calculating volatile organic compound emissions, and a 10-hour training session that goes further into OSHA rules and programs.
Companies with fewer than 20 employees get a special discounted rate.
Visit the NEHS Conference site by February 12 to get the early-bird registration price, and enter to win an iPod Nano.
