DS-IQ and Scala Announce Integration to Create Powerful Closed Loop Learning System for Retail Media Networks
New Web-based solution enables retail users of Scala’s InfoChannel to quantify sales uplift, apply micro-targeting and unlock product sales
Bellevue, Wash. and Exton, Penn. - Today DS-IQ and Scala announced the integration of Scala’s InfoChannel® software suite with DS-IQ’s Web-based Digital Signage Marketing Performance (DSMP) service. Together, the two products deliver a complete end-to-end solution for retail media networks: flexible content creation, scheduling and delivery, plus sophisticated, real-time measurement and analysis of the sales impact of in-store digital advertising campaigns.
Tom Opdycke, DS-IQ’s president and CEO, commented, “We are delighted to be working with Scala. The breadth of their deployments - domestic and international - is impressive. Retailers that leverage DS-IQ’s marketing performance service, in combination with Scala’s content targeting capability, will benefit from a closed-loop learning system that reveals exactly how shoppers respond - by store, by day-part, by ad. The DS-IQ Scala solution unlocks powerful new insights for retailers and in-store advertisers who want to make smart campaign decisions to boost sales even more.”
With integration complete, DS-IQ’s service can now capture key information from Scala’s playlogs - where and when an ad played - and then correlate it with detailed purchase information using proprietary technology developed just for retail in-store media networks. Easy-to-understand charts and dashboards present detailed results to authorized users. Since DS-IQ works over the Web, implementation for new or existing Scala networks is simple, secure and non-intrusive.
Jeff Porter, Scala’s executive vice president, observed, “We’ve worked hard to develop easy-to-use tools to create eye-catching media content with targeted messaging. What has been missing is a real-time method to isolate the sales impact of multiple variables, like content, ad length, day-parting, or sign placement, so that retailers and advertisers can use a data driven approach to manage campaigns for the greatest sales impact. DS-IQ fills that need.”
